Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Chrysta Carreiro to the position of Vice Principal for Kildala Elementary School effective August 1, 2024.
Currently a member of the teaching staff at Kildala Elementary School, Chrysta will join Principal Janelle Hittel as the second member of the school’s administrative team.
Chrysta holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Northern British Columbia.
A long-time resident of Kitimat, Chrysta has taught primary education at Kildala Elementary School since joining the school district in April 2013. Her knowledge of the community, students and families, and her reputation as a dedicated educator with a commitment to the success of young people, will serve Kildala Elementary School well.
We welcome Chrysta to her new role as Vice Principal at Kildala Elementary School and extend to her every success as she pursues this exciting career change.
