Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Spencer Edwards to the position of Vice Principal for Caledonia Secondary School effective August 1, 2024.
Spencer will join Principal Keith Axelson and Vice Principal Joe Dominguez as the third member of the school’s administrative team.
Spencer currently serves as Vice Principal of Kildala Elementary School as well as servicing Indigenous leaners across Kitimat schools as the Indigenous Learner Success Advisor.
Spencer holds a Special Education Diploma from University of Victoria and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Vancouver Island University focused on developing a sense of place by incorporating place-based learning and Indigenous ways of knowing into the learning environment.
